De acordo com um estudo de 2017 do instituto de pesquisa McKinsey Global Institute, 800 milhões de pessoas perderão seus empregos para a automatização até 2030. Isso representa um quinto de toda a classe trabalhadora do mundo inteiro. em âmbito global, pelo menos um terço dos trabalhadores precisarão se reinventar para manter seus empregos.

TRABALHOS QUE ENVOLVAM RESOLUÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS
As máquinas ainda não aprenderam a resolver problemas complexos que envolvam soluções criativas e genuínas. "Ainda que as máquinas tenham habilidade de serem mais rápidas do que qualquer ser humano, elas não conseguem fazer análises mais profundas, nem têm especializações e o conhecimento necessário para resolver problemas de produção", conta Mark Williams.

PSICÓLOGOS E PROFISSÕES QUE DEMANDEM UM TRABALHO SOCIAL 
Outra profissão que será difícil de ser automatizada é aquela que envolve o cuidado com a mente humana, acredita Pickersgill. "As pessoas vão ao psicólogo porque necessitam de ajuda e de amparo emocional. e isso só pode ser feito por meio de uma interação humana, por alguém que consegue sentir empatia e entender o outro".
